Are our futures predetermined? Are what we do and say already written out within the pages of a script? Perhaps we are the leaders of our own lives and such a theory is obsolete. Indeed, the proposal of a predestined life is intriguing and makes one wonder whether it is worth the sacrifice many of us see ourselves making while others continue pushing themselves to their limits. With the death of Destiny and the revelation of her diaries becoming general knowledge, many have set out to seek these precious books; fore, Destiny was a very well established precognitive mutant. With the threat of the books getting in the wrong hands the X-Men have decided to go after the diaries as well, for is such got into the wrong hands the world would be under incredible threat and it is their obligation to prevent this from happening by any means necessary.
